To minimise the Covid-19 like threats in future, Rail Coach factory (RCF) has become the first railway unit in the country to minimise human interaction by launching digitalisation of almost all services through newly developed website http://pardarsy.railnet.gov.in.
Addressing media persons after launching the newly developed website, Rail Coach Factory General manager Ravinder Gupta said now the vendors and suppliers would not have to visit the coach factory for collecting receipt orders of supplied materials, submission of bills manually which could be now sent through e-bill and now payments will be made through on online payment system.
He congratulated the IT department for developing this new technology for hundred percent transparency to check the menace of corruption.
Replying to a question regarding the check on the quality of components being supplied by the vendors, Gupta said suppliers who have acquired Work test certification will not have to undergo quality check inspection.
