Raipur Police will organize a walk to promote zero tolerance of crime against women on March 7 from 6 to 8 am at Marine Drive (Telibandha Pond) here to mark the International Women’s Day, it was announced on Monday.
The aim behind the event is to connect more women with the police so that they share their problems or talk about crime against them, Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police Lakhan Patle Pawar said.
Raipur Police have constituted four teams to provide security to and address the grievances of women, he said.
