The Delhi Cabinet Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam chaired an important meeting with officials and engineers of different departments on various projects of Seemapuri Assembly constituency.
Officials from East Delhi Municipal Corporation, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) , BSES and Public Works Department attended the meeting at Delhi Secretariat. In this meeting, repair maintenance and current plans of various development projects in the Seemapuri assembly constituency were reviewed. The issue of SSBL drain came out as the most important issue in the meeting. Gautam expressed his displeasure with the officials and said that due to the negligence of the engineers, many colonies had to face waterlogging. “Due to negligence in the SSBL drain, many Assemblies had to bear the brunt. Reprimanding the officials, Gautam said, “The drainage work should be completed on a priority basis and the project should be completed at the earliest.”
