Rajnath: India will not hesitate to storm enemy’s house in need arose

Friday, 26 November 2021 | PNS | Lucknow

Without naming Pakistan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh warned that India would not tolerate any nuisance and if the need arose it would give a befitting reply to the enemy and for that it would not hesitate to storm the enemy’s house.

Reminding of the retaliatory surgical strikes in the aftermath of the Pulwama incident, Singh said that not only did we teach lessons to the enemies on the border, but if needed, India gave a befitting reply by striking inside enemy territory.

"India's recognition has increased internationally. Now India has become a strong country," the defence minister said while speaking at a conference of Bharatiya Janata Party booth chiefs of 15 districts of Awadh region in Sitapur on Thursday.

Singh said that witnessing the enthusiasm among party workers present at Sitapur, it seemed that now no one could stop BJP’s victory march in the next assembly elections.

Slamming the Samajwadi Party, Singh said that this was the same party whose government opened fire on the devotees of Ram during ‘kar sewa’.

"We cannot fire bullets at farmers and Ram bhakts. This can only be done by the Samajwadi Party," he said.

Switching to Jammu and Kashmir, Singh said that in 1951 when Jana Sangh was formed, it was decided that if its government was formed some day, it would end Article 370 which the present government had done.

“The perception of India in the last six-seven years has changed. There has been a change in the country. The world listens to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the international forum,” he said.

The defence minister further said that change was visible in UP.

"Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has done wonders. Big investments are happening and people coming from outside are investing in the state. With the help of Russia, modern assault rifles will be manufactured in UP itself. Brahmos missiles will also now be made on the soil of UP," he said.

During the speech, the former chief minister of UP said that a lot of effort was made to convince the farmers about the three new farm laws but when they could not be pacified, it was decided to withdraw the agriculture laws.

"The prime minister said that we could not leave the farmers in such a condition and will not do any such work, which will upset the farmers," he said.
