Three pilgrims were killed and three others got injured in a road accident on Badrinath highway in Chamoli on Sunday evening. The sources informed that all the people boarding the ill fated vehicle belong to NOIDA in Uttar Pradesh and were returning from Badrinath when it crashed into a gorge near Badrinath highway. Two people were found dead at the accident site while one died during the treatment in the district hospital. The remaining three pilgrims were taken to the hospital with the help of police and the locals and they are still under treatment in the hospital.
