Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday handed over a cheque of Rs  1 crore to the family of corona warrior Deep Chand who lost his life due to Covid-19 while serving people in a Covid ward.

Jain met with the family and extended his condolences and presented the financial aid of Rs 1 crore to the family on behalf of the Delhi Government.

"In this tough time we are standing with the family", Jain tweeted.

He said that Deep Chand was a corona warrior who lost his life while saving others. “We are indebted to his sacrifice. He was a Corona Warrior who lost his life while saving others,” he said.
