It is mandatory for passengers to undergo RT-PCR tests 72 hours before flying to Chhattisgarh as per a state government order, it was announced on Saturday.
Passengers without RT-PCR test report will undergo Covid tests at the airport and will be in quarantine or Covid centre or hospital if the result turns out to be positive, a press release said. If any passenger does not agree for Covid test, he or she will follow the provision of institutional quarantine for seven days. Children's Covid test should be done with the consent of their parents, it said.
Similarly, action should be taken as per the Standard Operating Procedure prescribed for contact tracing of Covid positive passengers in flight.
