The Central Induction Programme for the Management Trainees of SAIL’s 2021 Batch (Extension Batch) was organised at the Human Resource Development Center. In the program, Director-in-Charge of BSL, Amarendu Prakash, ED (Projects) R. Kushwaha, ED (Materials Management) VK Pandey, ED (Works) Atanu Bhowmik, ED (P & A) Sameer Swarup, ED (Colliery Division) BK Tiwari, Chief General Managers and other senior officers and newly selected Management Trainees were present. During the program Director-in-Charge (Bhilai Steel Plant) SA Dasgupta, CEO (ISP) and Additional Charge DSP & ASP AV Kamalakar, Executive Director (HRD/MTI) K. Raman, ED (P & A - Corporate Office) KK Singh, other senior officers of all the plants and newly selected management trainees were present online.
At the beginning of the programme, CGM (HRD-MTI) P. Sao welcomed everyone. DIC Prakash, in his remarks, congratulated the newly selected management trainees on being selected for Maharatna SAIL after tough competition and welcomed them into the SAIL family. During the program, other senior officers associated with virtual mode also addressed the trainees and congratulated them and welcomed them into the SAIL family. The inaugural session of the induction program was conducted by the General Manager (HRD) Neeta Ba and the vote of thanks was given by the General Manager-in-Charge (MTI) S. Dhar.
It is noteworthy that in the 2021 (Extension Batch) batch, 8 management trainees of BSL, 1 of Colliery Division and 2 of Jharkhand Groups of Mines are participating in the Central Induction Programme getting organized at Bokaro.
The Central Induction programme will run for 10 days, after which training will be given to the management trainees for 52 weeks.
