Realising the seriousness of the Corona situation in Paradip in particular and Jagatsinghpur in general, local leader Arindam (Bapi) Sarkhel and his organisation Paradip Ersama Industrial Development Council (PEIDC) launched six free ambulances for Covid patients on Wednesday.
Besides, a control room has been set up with experienced doctors for giving free consultation to Covid patients. The facility will be available for all patients in Paradip Municipality, Kujang, Rahama, Tirtol and Erasama block areas.
People can avail it by calling on 9937138624 and 9556959684, PEIDC said in a statement. Besides, Sarkhel praised Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for his role in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic and urged him for setting up of a Covid Hospital at Paradip like he did recently in Madhya Pradesh and upgraded facilities at a private hospital in Bargarh. The hospital will cater to the need of the people of Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada districts, he said.
