More than 15 serious Covid-19 patients have lost their lives due to shortage of oxygen supply in small hospitals of Gurugram during the last week.

Despite these circumstances these hospitals regularly raise oxygen crisis issues through twitter or other social media platforms to the district administration to provide oxygen at their hospitals.

According to information, several of them have discharged all patients and shut down their operations, claiming that the district administration and the municipal corporation of Gurugram (MCG) are not paying attention to their repeated requests for urgent need of liquid oxygen.

Dr Ashok Kathuria, director of Kathuria hospital in old Gurugram said, “Due to shortage of oxygen four covid patients had died in the hospital now we have stopped admission of new Covid-19 patients as we can not risking someone’s life and why we would face families anger without any mistakes on our part”.

Recently, A private hospital in Gurugam Tweeted that the liquid oxygen allocated to the hospital in Gurugram was hijacked by some other hospital.  “More than 140 patients lives are in danger,”?it tweeted.

Later on the the hospital tweeted saying that they have received about less than one ton of oxygen.
