Local MLA Ashish Gobind Sharma inaugurated a vision center at Khategaon on Thursday. The center has been setup by Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital with the co-operation of an INGO Seva Foundation. As per the new guidelines of central government in Covid-19 pandemic situation, free eye camps are not organized.
In place of free camps now poor cataract patients are identified in vision centers from where those patients are sent to SSEH for their free surgeries. Patron of senior citizen forum J.P.S. Tomar, Secretary Satish Mittal and Managing trustee of SSEH L.C. Janiyani were main amongst dignitaries present in the function.
MLA Ashish Gobind Sharma said that it will be a big help to poor and needy eye patients on opening of this vision centre in Khategaon. He said that the possibilities of human development will take place when the ailing patients will get benefits of their overall health fitness. MLA told diligent and skilled manpower is only possible when our people are physically fit. He said that the efforts of the sewa sadan eye hospital in this direction is exemplary.
Managing Trustee of SSEH welcome the MLA and dignitaries present in the function. He threw the light on the charity works and achievements of the eye hospital. He also disclosed the contribution of Paramhansa Sant Hirdaram Sahibji and Sant Siddh Bhauji in the field of health and women education. He told that the cataract surgeries of poor patients is done free of cost. Janiyani uplauded the contribution of INGO Seva Foundation in opening of this new vision center in Khategaon. Patron of senior citizen forum J.P.S. Tomar said he was aware of the service activities of SSEH. He hoped that by the opening of vision center many patients of weak vision will be benefitted. At last programme manager Manoj Dhavadia proposed vote of thanks.
