Sham-e-Ghazal Sufiana held

Sham-e-Ghazal Sufiana was held on Thursday at Madya Pradesh State Tribal Museum Youtube channel.

It was organised by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy. Sufiyana gayan was  performed by Ayyub Ghafoor and group, Bhopal and  Rachna Sharma Puranic and group, Indore.

In the Sham-e-Ghazal Sufiana organized in Gamak, two artists performed with their crew. In the first presentation, Mohammad Ayub Ghafoor of Bhopal and second presentation was given by Rachna Sharma Puranic, Indore. Nusrat Mehdi, Director, Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy extended best wishes to all the artists.

Ayyub Ghafoor, a well known singer of Mewat Gharana has been singing since last thirty years. He received his primary musical education from your father, Ustad Abdul Ghafoor Khan Saheb, a noted classical singer of the Mewat Gharana. He  has been honored with many honours.  Ayub has given water performances in many national and international forums.

In Sham-e-Ghazal Sufiana, he sang 'Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua Banke Tamanna Meri', 'Kabhi Ae Haqeeke Muntjar Nazaar Aa Libasse Majaz Mein' and 'Chhap Tilak Sab Chhini Li Mose Naina Milaike'.

Artists were accompanied on Tabla by Naeem Allahwale, on Dholak by Sabir, on Octopad by Wasim Masoom, on Keyboard by Sehban Ayyub and Shahid Masoom and in Chorus by Saud, Shadab and Hamza.

The second presentation was given by  Rachna Sharma Puranic and companions. Rachna started singing at the age of seven. He received his early education in music from his mother, Urmila Puranic.

Rachna received her training from Khairagarh University and a Ph.D. in Singing from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. She has composed many songs, ghazals, bhajans. Rachna has given her presentations on many prestigious forums of the country.

In the presentation - 'Whatever we had an agreement with you, you may not remember it or not', 'I have agreed for the sake of Daag Dehlvi, I have lost my faith with a false oath', and Qamar Jalalabadi's- Singing 'Nowhere in my place, neither in the house nor outside the house'.
