Haryana Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, OP Yadav on Monday said with an aim to deliver message of patriotism, sacrifice and martyrdom to young generations, the Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages (DIPRL) is organising a digital exhibition in all the districts of the State.
“Our ancestors made supreme sacrifices for the freedom of our country Showcasing the supreme history of freedom struggle under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is the most commendable step taken by the State Government,” Yadav said while interacting with the media persons during the inauguration of three-day digital exhibition event at Panchayat Bhawan, Narnaul. The Minister said Haryana had made significant contribution in the freedom struggle of our nation.
During the revolt of 1857 against British rule, thousands of citizens sacrificed their lives in a single day on the land of Nasibpur village of Mahendragarh district. It is very important to inform our young generation about the history so that they would understand the importance of freedom, he said.
Notably, the three-day exhibition will be held on November 22, 23 and 24. In this exhibition, photo copies of important records preserved by the Archives Department will also be shown through digital medium.
