Singh Deo concerned over infection rate in Janjgir

Chhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo on Friday expressed concern over the Covid-19 infection rate in Janjgir Champa district.

While chairing an online review meeting, he said there has been over 5 percent infection rate of Covid in the district and called for RT-PCR test of people who have come from outside, a press release said.  

The Minister interacted with the public representatives, district administration, civil society members and officers of municipal corporations and urged everyone to strictly follow the Covid protocol.

Singh Deo reviewed the available stock of Covid vaccine and progress made in vaccination.

He said every day Chhattisgarh is carrying out more than 40,000 sample testing.
