With the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh completing four-and-a-half years on Sunday, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party government on social media. “Six months are left for this rhetorical and arrogant government,” Yadav said in a tweet on Sunday.
"Fifty-four have passed, six months left of this arrogant government of atrocities, unemployment, inflation, hatred and stagnation of business, allurement, and the rhetoric of the government," he said.
Akhilesh further wrote, “I don't want such a government, whose truth is: Thug ka Saath, Thug ka Vikas, Thug ka Vishwas, Thug ka Prayas."
In another tweet Akhilesh said, “The way farmers and rural people are troubled by the problem of stray animals, it seems that the next election of UP is the problem of self-proclaimed 'Damdar' vs 'Dumdar'.''
The SP chief said the BJP would be wiped out in 2022 UP assembly elections. He reiterated that the Yogi Adityanath was claiming credit for the development works done during the previous Samajwadi Party government. He said the foundation stone of the Kanpur Metro rail project was laid during his government but obstacles were raised and his government was unable to complete the project. He said the Purvanchal Expressway was also the brainchild of the previous Samajwadi Party and the Yogi government was claiming credit for this project.
