Special precaution at police stations amid Covid surge

In view of the increasing infection of the corona, senior officials gave instructions to take special precautions at police station level in the district and at every level of interaction with the citizens.

In view of the increasing infection of Corona and the spread of infection among the policemen, special care is being taken by the Bhopal Police during the duty and duty in the area in compliance with the guidelines by senior officers.

Glass cabins are being installed in all the police stations of Bhopal so that the complaint of the complainant who comes to the police station can be heard well and the station staff can also be safe from corona.

Handwash, washbasin and sanitizer have been served notices in all the police stations so that the station staff and visitors enter the police station after washing their hands. Apart from this, face shields are being mandated by police staff and checking, patrolling staff, special precautions are being taken during field visits and checking.

The condition of policemen in the rapidly increasing of Corona is getting worse.

Among the policemen an SI Kunjilal Sen died of Corona on Sunday, he was undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital for the past few days. He was posted at Baghsewania police station while three policemen are critical.

Constable Suresh Vishwakarma posted with Bilkharia police is also undergoing treatment and his condition is critical. He was deployed in Damoh during visit of President of India around 22 days ago.
