On the occasion of "World Health Day" a special vaccination drive was conducted in the district on Wednesday. As many as 87 centres have been constituted for corona vaccination in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Pathak said that in view of the increasing infection of Covid-19 vaccination campaign is being carried out rapidly in the district as per the instructions of the Government. In this series, today, on the occasion of World Health Day, a special drive is being organized and Mega Vaccination Camp has been set up at 87 places to give Covid-19 vaccine to persons above the age of 45 years.
Civil Surgeon Dr Dinesh Singh informed that for the purpose of more and more people getting vaccine of Covid-19 mega camp constituted at 87 places across the district. Vaccination is being done at the centre, so that the maximum number of people can be given vaccines to control the growing corona infection in the district. He said that for people of more than 45 years of age vaccination is being conducted in the district from April 1, 2021. Vaccination will be done on special dates on 7-8 April, 10-11 April and 13-14 April.
Describing the Covid-19 vaccination as completely safe, Dr. Singh appealed to the people to come to the vaccination centre and take the vaccine as well as to comply with the government guidelines such as mask and sanitizer and social distancing to protect against Covid-19.
