The sports activities shut down due to Covid-19 will restart soon in State. The sports activities which have been closed since last two months due to Covid-19 will soon begin.

Necessary directions for permission of outdoor activities for boarding and day boarding players in sports academies located in Bhopal, Gwalior, Shivpuri and Jabalpur  were given by Director Sports and Youth Welfare Pawan Jain, ensuring strict adherence to the Covid protocol. According to the guidelines issued, players above the age of 18 years who have been vaccinated, will be able to practice strictly following the guidelines related to the Covid-19 protocol. Activities will be allowed only for outdoor fitness.

Sports Director Pawan Jain informed that keeping in mind the continuous reduction in the cases of corona infection, the initial start of sports activities is being started from June 14.

In the first phase, conditional permission will be given to athletics, badminton, tennis, facing, shooting, volleyball, squash, billiard-snooker and table tennis.In this regard, instructions have been given to the officials and sports coaches to take necessary action. Besides, some cinditions are set on which the players will be allowed entry in sports complex.

Players above 18 years of age must have at least one dose of the vaccine for practice in the stadium premises.It is mandatory to have an admit card to enter the stadium.

The player will be eligible to enter and practice within the stipulated time. The entry of spectators and parents will be prohibited.
