Khaknaar recorded 8 cm of rainfall which was the highest rainfall in the past 24 hours, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain divisions witnessed rainfall.
Nepanagar recorded 7 cm of rainfall, Bhainsdehi, Jhirniya, Haatpipliya recorded 5 cm of rainfall, Bhikangaon and Burhanpur recorded 4 cm of rainfall, Depalpur and Khargone recorded 3 cm of rainfall.
During next 24 hours, heavy rainfall at Umaria, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Dindori, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Betul, Burhanpur, Rajgarh and Guna districts is likely to be witnessed and thundery activities and thunder lightening and speedy winds would be witnessed in Jabalpur, Shahdol, Rewa, Sagar, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior and Chambal divisions.
State capital witnessed hot and humid weather conditions in the day and heavy rainfall was witnessed late in the evening on Sunday. In the afternoon cloudy weather conditions prevailed and later heavy downpour was witnessed. According to the forecast day temperature would be witnessed at 34 degree Celsius while night temperature at 22 degree Celsius.
The night temperatures dipped to 19 degree Celsius which was the lowest night temperature recorded in the state and recorded at Mandla and Raisen.
A low pressure area has formed over Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas and a cyclonic circulation persists. It is very likely that this weather system will become well marked during next 24 hours and gradually fade.
