Tejashwi vows to revive the party in Jharkhand

Former Bihar deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday interacted with office bearers, leaders and workers of Jharkhand unit of his party at the party office in Ranchi.

Yadav who is virtually controlling the affairs of the party on behalf of his ailing father Lalu Prasad as said that he is committed to revive the party in Jharkhand.

“Every month I will spend at least two days in Jharkhand and I will reconnect all old workers with the party. I will strengthen the party in the pockets of Jharkhand where the RJD was powerful sometimes,” he said. 

He said that he is committed to revive the prospect of the party in Jharkhand to make it stronger like Bihar.

He advised the party leadership in Jharkhand to strengthen the party at the booth level because it will ultimately help the party in the election.

Yadav said that the party might have lost the status of the kingmaker. But one should not be disappointed if the graph of the party has fallen. He said jointly they can revive the party.

Palamu division once happened to be the stronghold of the party.

But gradually the party lost its organizational and electoral base. In the last assembly election the party could win one seat and get one cabinet berth in the Hemant Soren led JMM-Congress-RJD government.

Yadav also met chief minister Hemant Soren and discussed political issues.
