Ending days of speculation, senior officers of Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Radhika Jha, Nitesh Jha and Deepak Rawat took over their new assignments on Monday.
Radhika Jha took over the charge of the secretary of school education department on the day.
Similarly, Nitesh Jha assumed charge as secretary and director of Panchayati Raj on Monday.
The newly appointed managing director of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) and Power Transmission Corporation Limited (PTCUL) Deepak Rawat also took charge of the office on Monday. Speculation were rife that these high profile officers were not happy at the recent reshuffle in bureaucracy.
However, these speculation were laid to rest on Monday when they took over the new responsibilities.
