nChhattisgarh Police on Thursday arrested three persons including a woman for smuggling 220 grams of brown sugar (an adulterated form of heroin) valued at Rs 22 lakhs in Surguja district.
The three included main supplier Sunil Prasad (32) and peddlers Prakash Gupta (35) and Manmati Singh (55), Surguja Superintendent of Police Anil Kamble told The Pioneer.
Prasad hails from Jahrkahnd. Gupta and Singh are from Ambikapur town.
