The Nandankanan Zoological Park near here welcomed three new guests as tigress ‘Megha’ gave birth to three cubs late on Tuesday night.
With the birth of the cubs, which are born to tiger ‘Nandan’ and tigress ‘Megha’, the number of big cats in the zoo rose to 30.
The newborns were being observed by the zoo authorities through CCTV camera. The conditions of the tigress and the cubs were stable, the zoo officials said. Earlier on March 28, tigress ‘Bijaya’ had delivered three cubs in Nandankanan.
