The Vigilance police on Monday caught Nimain Sahu, Dealing Clerk in the office of Special Planning Authority, Town Planning, Keonjhar, red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.
Sahu had demanded the bribe from complainant Ajay Kumar Biswakarma of village Gourtota Sahi in the district to process the application for issue of approval of building plan in favour of the complainant.
Following the seizure, his office room and rented residential house at Keonjhar were searched and he was arrested and forwarded to court.
