Transfer of RTOs: Dandariyal reaches CEC with complaint

Sunday, 28 November 2021 | PNS | Dehradun

Questioning the undue favour being bestowed on a officer of the transport department in Uttarakhand, activist and president of city bus services association Vijay Vardhan Dandriyal has requested the chief election commissioner (CEC) of India to intervene in the issue. He said that in the recent list of the transfers of the Regional Transport Officers (RTO), the name of Dehradun RTO Dinesh Chandra Pathoi is missing.

Dandariyal said that transfer of Pathoi was due and to be done from Sugam (Accessible area) to Durgam (hard to access). He said that the said officer has completed three years and six months in Dehradun and most of his service has been either in Pauri division or Dehradun.

Alleging that the officer has a questionable past, Dandriyal requested that the election commission should intervene in the matter so that the officers of the transport department discharge their duties properly during the upcoming assembly elections.
