Two held with cannabis

The Chhattisgarh Police on Monday arrested two persons with 11.100 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 95,000 from separate places here, police said.

The two are Mahesh Jagat (33) and Dilkhush Kumar Tandi (26), Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Lakhan Pawar Patle said.

Mahesh hails from Durg district and Tandi is from Raipur district.

Mahesh was arrested from the Patharidih-Urla road in the Urla police station limits with 10 bags (1 kg each) of cannabis. Tandi was trapped in Heerapur locality with 1.100 kg of cannabis, the officer said.
