Sleuths of the UP Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) arrested two Rohingya refugees staying illegally in Ghaziabad on Monday night. On Tuesday, an ATS communiqué released in Lucknow confirmed that a team arrested Noor Alam alias Rafiq and Amir Hussain from Ghaziabad. A Rohingya, Hussain slithered into India illegally through Bangladesh while Noor Alam, a native of Myanmar, had promised Hussain to get a new Indian identity soon.

Noor Alam had been staying at  Nayapada Refugee Camp  in Bangladesh before coming to India and striking roots in Durbar Labar Khas in Meerut. He is a native of Kyaisang of Akyab district of Rakhine province in Myanmar. Hussain on the other hand is a native of Maugandu district of Rakhine province of Myanmar and after entering the country he started staying at Gali No. 6, Shriram Colony, Khajuri Khas area of Delhi.
