For National Voters’ Day, to be observed on January 25, District Election Officer-cum- Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Singh dispatched voter awareness chariot from the Collectorate premises here on Friday.
This awareness will work in all the blocks, panchayats and markets etc. areas of Rath district to make people aware.
District Election Officer-cum- Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Singh said that while appealing to the district residents, especially the youth, he said that the voter ID card is not just address proof and an I-card. He said that you get the right to vote under the Constitution. People over the age of 18 or 18 are an integral part of democracy. If you remain aware, you can play your participation in democracy.
