CG Foods is out to extensively market its noodle brands in Madhya Pradesh. A special campaign in this direction has been planned.
While talking to media persons here on Wednesday, Varun Chaudhary, Managing Director, CG Corp Global told that with many strategies and plans underway, the noodle maker is currently offering multiple varieties of noodles to meet rising demand in the state. Madhya Pradesh being one of the relatively stronger markets for the brand; the company is also working aggressively to make the new ‘WAI WAI Sauces’ available in every part of the state.
He informed that Madhya Pradesh has played a pivotal role in the story of WAI WAI India’s journey as it forms an integral part of the company’s present and future plans. The state receives mammoth production support from its plants in Rajasthan and Rudrapur in Uttarakhand. The company enjoys around 8% market share in the state.WAI WAI noodles have a large and integrated network of distributors that are the backbone of WAI WAI’s success story in Madhya Pradesh.
Chaudhary further said that at national level, the company is poised to achieve its target of Rs 1000 crore by the end of current financial year, in the total noodle market of around Rs 5,000 crore.
Madhya Pradesh stood out as one of the markets which gave a positive response even during the COVID-19 pandemic as the company doubled its business this year in comparison to last year. One of the key factors that helped WAI WAI clock record sales in Madhya Pradesh during COVID was due to an increase in consumption of convenience food, directly impacting WAI WAI sales, he added.
