Webinar on World Ozone Day-2021 held at RTU

A webinar on World Ozone Day 2021 was organized at Rabindranath Tagore University on Friday.

The webinar was organised by the Faculty of Science, Environment Club and Centre for Science Communication in association with Mahendra College of Engineering Namakkal, Tamil Nadu through Webinar with the blessing of Vice Chancellor Dr. Brahma Prakash Pethiya and Registrar Vijay Singh. As a part of the celebration, awareness on the theme “The Montreal protocol- Keeping us our food and vaccines cool" were held.The welcome speech was delivered by Bhawna Agrawal, Co-Convener, followed with addressal by Neetu Paliwal, Dean and formal briefing by Chitra Singh, Prabal Roy, Director of Centre for Science Communication has highlighted about the today’s scenario on ozone layer after that Keynote Speaker  N. Zulfareen from Namakkal, Tamilnadu in her speech she emphasized the need for making people aware about the climate change and depletion of ozone layer.

Ranjit Puse   brief about the Environment Club which is running in the University followed by Vote of thanks at the end he conveys his sincere thanks to each and every one who worked for the success of the programme.
