Expressing concern over a possible third wave of Covid-19, former Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday demanded to know the steps being taken by the Chhattisgarh government to meet the threat. Singh said in a statement that the dip in cases following the second wave of Covid may have come as a relief but it has rung alarm bells of a possible third wave.
He said: “The preparations of the government are not seen on the ground. The government must answer what has been done to increase the storage capacity of oxygen, how many oxygen beds have been added, how many oxygen concentrators have been arranged and the availability of medicines like Remdesivir."
