Habibganj police have arrested a drug peddler woman carrying drugs worth Rs 35000 at Danapani restaurant on Friday; accused woman was found involved in drug peddling for long, said police.Police said that the action was taken after receiving information that a woman carrying drugs and nabbed and a police reached rushed to the spot and tracked woman peddler who appeared and were nabbed.Police have seized 3.6 kg of Cannabis which were carried in plastic bag. The drug peddler was identified as Laxmi Bai (30) of PC Nagar EWS.During the initial investigation it was found drug peddler was booked in the year 2007 and 2017 for drug peddling by Habiganj police. After the initial investigation police have registered a case under sections 8 and 20 of the NDPS Act.
