A 22-year old young woman was allegedly sexually exploited for the past one year on the promise of marriage by a divorced man at Semra under Ashoka Garden police station area; a complaint was lodged by victim on Thursday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Raju Kushwaha in the name of marrying her and few days ago he refused to marry victim. Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation. The victim came into contact with the accused who lives in the same locality and divorced his wife a year ago. After the accused divorced his wife he developed relationship with the victim who used to live at house after studies.
In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry. The accused continued to sexually exploit and lured her of marriage. After the preliminary investigation police have registered case against the accused and started search for the accused. Meanwhile, Kolar police have booked a auto rickshaw driver for molesting a class 10 girl student at Bairagarh Chichli on Thursday; accused went absconding after incident.
