CookSmart

If you are cooking a recipe from a book or reading it online, one of the first thingst o do before you jump right in to start cooking is to read the entire recipe first. This is becasue you may end up with a couple of ingredients short. Also, you’ll also be able to find out which pots, pans, and tools you need and if overnight marinate is needed.

Set all the ingredients that are needed around you. You don’t want to be running looking for them with the pan on the gas.

Sharpen your knife. It saves time when it comes to cutting veggies and meat. Dull knives are dangerous and can slip when cutting, which makes the chance of cutting yourself higher.

Tip: Season your food! Salt is the key to making food’s flavour jump and take it to tasty level.
