Hollywood actor Owen Wilson has shared that English co-star Tom Hiddleston gave him lectures on Loki and that there was an in-depth examination of the God of Mischief and his history for the new series titled Loki.
Owen said, “Yes, I knew the Marvel films and had some general knowledge but it was great when I first got down to work in Atlanta because Tom would give what we called ‘Loki lectures’. We would have an in-depth look at Loki, his history in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that opened up this whole new world for me.”
Tom reprises his popular role as the titular Loki in the series while Owen portrays Mobius M Mobius, a high ranking member of the Time Variance Authority which specialises in investigating particularly dangerous criminals.
“He worked with me individually, just going over the lore and everything else that he felt was important, showing me clips and things. I ended up writing down some of the stuff he said describing Loki and his insight on scenes that he had done,” Owen shared.
“I think his input was very effective since it worked its way into my dialogues at times,” he added.
The series also features Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard Grant. Directed by Kate Herron and written by Michael Waldron, the initial episode of Loki has dropped on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
