Fairtalk - Aahana Kumra
‘I know as an actress, I have the power to influence people, and I want to do it in the right direction. Films can have an enormous impact on society, especially young minds. So, I never want to be associated with a project that will showcase women in a poor light. It’s important and a high time to have conversations around women’s rights and safety.’
Dailytalk – Rashmika Mandanna
‘Since I am just a beginner in the field of acting, as a person I am curious how it is going to pan out when I do different things. For me, every film I choose, I do a different character because, for me, I wouldn’t want to watch myself do the same content twice. I like to keep surprising myself — ‘am I really doing this?' I am craving to do better work in any language.’
Scary to have a baby in pandemic: Jones
Actor Felicity Jones said that it was an intense experience giving birth to a baby during the pandemic.
“I made banana bread three times and burnt it each time. I had a baby in the first one. It seems ages ago now in the really scary lockdown when we were all advised to wash our groceries and we didn’t know what was going to happen. It was pretty intense, but having kids is intense anyway. The pandemic just added a little extra,” she said.
She added: “To have a baby in an apocalyptic moment is pretty scary.”
