Finally, the Orissa High Court on Friday stepped in to restrain actor-turned-politician couple Anubhav Mohanty and Varsha Priyadarshini from their ugly spat on social media about their estranged marital relationship.
The court asked the BJD Kendrapada MP and his wife to stop posting or uploading any videos on social media against each other.
The order came from the vacation Bench of Justices BP Routray and MS Sahoo while adjudicating a petition filed by Varsha. Till the next hearing of the matter on July 4, the court asked the couple to refrain from discussing anything in public media about their marital life.
Married in 2014 after six years of friendship, the couple is now engaged in a legal slugfest, each filing cases against the other, including divorce and domestic violence suits, which are now pending in courts.
