Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya and Forest Department, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal jointly organised to spread awareness among the common citizens about the conservation and promotion of wild animals 'Run for Cheetah' Marathon is being organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Sunday.
This marathon will start from the gate located on Bhadbhada Road of Van Vihar and will reach Manav Sangrahalaya beyond Bhadbhada Square, Depot Square, Smart City Tiraha, Tribal Museum Tiraha. In the picturesque plaintiffs here visiting the exhibitions based on material culture collected from different states and communities of India will reach the boat club after covering a distance of about 2 km and it will end at the entrance gate no. 1 of Van Vihar. The distance of this marathon will be 6.5 kilometer in which about 200 participants will participate.
This race has been organized in our country for the restoration of the Cheetah again after about 72 years. Registration of Run for Cheetah Marathon Race at Van Vihar Gate No; 2, Prempura Ghat, Bhadbhada will start at 5.30 am and the race will start at 7.00 am.
