Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday announced that sports infrastructure will be developed in Jashpur region.
He made the announcement in village Asta in Jashpur assembly segment .
Jashpur is known as the hockey nursery in Chhattisgarh. In a bid to promote the sport, he announced a flood light-hit astro turf at Pahuchai.
Besides, he declared that a mini stadium will come up in village Kharsota.
Baghel announced bringing electricity to villages Pakritoli, Kitkitoli, Dhavarpat and Khamhali.
Electrification will also be done at the Majra Tolas of Jashpur's Jurtela and Luikona block, he added.
His other announcements include construction of a culvert across Surya rivulet on the main road of Asta leading to Asta village and a new power sub-station in village Sonkyari.
