The 12th day ritual of Amaresh Mishra, veteran advocate of Chhatrapur was held in his residence here on Thursday which was attended by a large number of advocates and intellectuals. A brief condolence meeting was also held being presided over by former Assembly Deputy Speaker and former MLA of Chhatrapur Rama Chandra Panda. Panda recalled how late Mishra was protesting police highhandedness and was arrested along with him and other student leaders in the historic 1966 students’ movement in Ganjam.
