A 17-year old girl was sexually exploited for the past two years on the promise of marriage at Shymala Hills area; a complaint was lodged by victim on Thursday.

According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Fazal in the name of marrying her and later refused to marry her.

Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation.

The victim came into contact with the accused when she used to live at Ahata Rustam Khan, they became friends and later developed a relationship.

In the complaint the victim claimed that the accused never revealed that he is married and continued to exploit her. Later she came to know that the accused was married.

Few months back when the victim started to pressurise for marrying the accused refused to marry her after which the victim lodged a complaint with the police.

Meanwhile, Baghsewania police have nabbed a Bihar based man for sexually exploiting a 31-year old woman for the past five years; accused assured to marry after divorce and later refused.

Police said that the accused identified as Purshottam was booked after the victim lodged complaint against the accused of sexual exploitation for the past five years on the pretext of marriage.

The victim in her complaint stated that she developed closeness with the accused as she used to have fights with husband and bitter relationship which led to divorce and the accused assured that he would marry her.

After divorce accused refused to marry her, she lodged complaint with police in Bihar but no action was taken and when she returned to her parents in Bhopal a complaint was lodged with Baghsewania police. The police registered a case of sexual assault and started investigation.
