36 litres of illegally transported country made liquor seized

Hanumanganj police arrested accuses involved in transporting liquor illegally and recovered 36 liters of illegal country liquor kept in the car.

Keeping in view the urban/panchayat elections, Commissioner of Police Bhopal Makrand Deuskar, gave necessary instructions to the beat in-charges by the Commissioner of Police Bhopal  Sachin Atulkar and Deputy Commissioner of Police Riyaz Iqbal for effective action on the transportation/sale of illicit liquor etc. Station in-charge Mahendra Singh Thakur police station Hanumanganj, District Bhopal apprised the beat in-charges of the police station area to take action as per instructions.

Hanumanganj police station based on the information received by tracked accused identified as Gurmeet Singh (67) years, near Power House.

A total of 200 bottles (36 liters) of country plane liquor were found in four different cartoons from the car found in the possession of Obedullaganj Raisen, on which, while taking action against the accused Gurmeet Singh taken and a case under Section 34 Excise Act was registered.The Tata Nexon car bearing registration number  MP04CV2459 was also seized. Information about the criminal record of the accused is being obtained on ICGS.
