The Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta on Friday slammed the Delhi Government over cleaning of Yamuna River and said that AAP Ministers only mislead the people of the national Capital at the time of elections and make false promises.
Addressing the media, Gupta said that ahead of the Rajinder Nagar Assembly by- elections Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his colleagues have started making statements on cleaning of Yamuna River.
“Yamuna is not an election issue but an identity of our culture and politicking on this only shows his mindset. In 2015 the CM had promised to clean the river in five years. He even showed Delhiites dream of doing so by offering prayers at kudsia ghat with his Cabinet colleagues and senior officials,” Gupta added.
