Advocate Rupali appointed as Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) by NCT Delhi

Advocate Rupali Bandhopadhya has been appointed as the Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) by Govt of National Territory of Delhi. She is an alumnus of St Stephen’s College and Master of Laws from Cornell University,

With over a decade's experience in international legal practise including dispute resolution, project management, cross border investments and contracts, international arbitrations and intellectual property law, she is an Attorney at Law licensed to practise in New York and has worked at the United Nations. She runs a Delhi-based Legal Consultant firm, Edifice Legal LLP.

Rupali has worked at United Nations of Legal Affairs and as High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR. She has also represented the legal department at the head office of British Airways India for handling and managing suits, corporate agreements, leases and other legal action in the region as an authorized attorney with regard to policy implementation, regulation and compliance.

She has won several top-notch awards and accolades in her career. She has won Best Memorial Award organized by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

She is the Winner of the Young Visionary Award for Cambridge University, UK for the International Summer School, 2005 and also the recipient of the Best Student of the Year for overall contribution to college 2002-2005. Rupali had received the Sumitomo Scholarship for academic excellence 2002-2005.
