Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana on Tuesday joined his fellow officers for a yoga session at the lawns of the Delhi Police Headquarters on Jai Singh Marg, on the occasion of Yoga Day. According to officials, all the 15 districts and other units of the force have also organised regular yoga sessions for their personnel in their respective jurisdictions. Taking to Twitter, Asthana said, "Yoga is a way of life that brings positive health and well-being."During the session, asanas and pranayams were demonstrated by a trained yoga instructor. The participants learnt about the benefits of yoga and ways to strengthen their immune system by practicing yoga regularly, a senior police officer said.
