Badrinath has been experiencing snowfall for three consecutive days. The temple township is covered in more than three feet of snow with the snowfall continuing. Along with Badrinath, snowfall is being experienced in the Valley of Flowers, Hemkund, Niti and Mana valleys. The high Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Neelkanth, Satopanth and others are covered in fresh snow. While the higher altitude regions are experiencing snowfall, the places at relatively lower altitudes are experiencing consistent rainfall which has intensified the cold in Joshimath block.
