Bank of Maharashtra, a leading public sector bank, has bagged “Kirti Puraskar", the highest award for Rajbhasha given by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
The bank got the prestigious award in two categories -- “Better Implementation of Official Language” and “Best House Magazine” -- at a glittering ceremony on Hindi Diwas programme held at Surat, Gujarat.
Home Minister Amit Shah was the chief guest at the event.
K. Rajesh Kumar, General Manager, Human Resource Management and Rajbhasha, Bank of Maharashtra, received the award for Better Implementation of Rajbhasha. Dr. Rajendra Shrivastava, Deputy General Manager, Rajbhasha, Bank of Maharashtra, received the award for Best House Magazine.
