Banks achieve 77 % target in priority sector ACP

The banks which are doing the business in the district through their branches have achieved 77 per cent of the target of priority sector in the last three months. The target is allotted by the district administration in every financial year to every bank under ACP (Annual Credit Plan). NABARD has announced in the review meeting that we have decided to spend Rs 2,162 crores in the next financial year in different sectors.

 

A meeting of DLBCC (District Level Bankers Coordination Committee) was held in the seminar hall of deputy commissioner office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay. In the meeting the LDM (Lead Bank Development Manager) Sudhakar Pandey presented the progress of banks in the field of government plans, which are run by the banks.

 

Pandey mentioned the present position of CD Ratio (Credit Deposit Ratio), achievement of Kisan Credit Card, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Self Help Group, agriculture loan, PM Mudra Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana phase 2, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jeevan Joyti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and other plans.

 

In the meeting the DGM of NABARD said that they have planned to spend Rs 2,162 crores on National Priority and on the demand of Central and State government policy.

 

The LDM said that the target for the financial year 2021-22  was Rs 1615.72 crores in priority sector; the bank has distributed Rs 1248.53 crores, which is 77.27 per cent of the target.

 

The secretary of DLBCC cum Deputy Development Commissioner Prerna Dixit said that after reviewing the progress of the bank, it has come to the light that the progress of some banks is not satisfactory. She has directed to all bank managers that they must clear all applications, which are pending.

 

The DC said that the banks have achieved 40 per cent target, which is good. She suggested all bank managers to achieve 45 per cent target by the last month of this financial year. She warned all the managers, whose progress is not satisfactory, they improve their working style and show the progress in the next meeting, otherwise the administration will complain to their headquarters.
