On August 5, during the foundation day of St. Xavier's School, a blood donation camp was organised by the blood bank of Bokaro General Hospital at St. Xavier's School. 15 participants donated blood in the blood donation camp. Dr. Shravan Kumar, Additional Chief Medical Officer of Bokaro General Hospital, who was present in the camp, said that any healthy person between 18 to 60 years can voluntarily donate blood thrice a year. He told that by donating blood there is no weakness, even the cluster level of the body remains normal and there is better circulation of blood. In organizing the blood donation camp, Principal of Sant Xavier School, Father Arun Minj, teacher Chandrika Ray along with Dr. Surendra Kumar of BGH Blood Bank, Neeta Shi, Kavita Kumar contributed significantly. Dr. Shravan Kumar thanked the school management for organizing the blood donation camp.
