Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati on Tuesday attacked the Bharatiya Janta Party for celebrating 100 days of the government’s second term. She alleged that the government failed on all fronts, especially the rising prices, unemployment and deteriorating law and order.

She alleged that the Yogi Adityanath government had been “extremely disappointing” as far as ensuring communal harmony and peace is concerned. In a tweet on Tuesday morning, Mayawati made a direct attack on the Yogi government.

“The UP BJP government celebrated 100 days’ tenure but it has been indifferent and very disappointing in doing away with the burning problems of poverty, unemployment, inflation etc and improving law & order, and creating mutual brotherhood and communal harmony,” Mayawati tweeted.

Earlier on Monday, the Congress and the Samajwadi Party had also attacked the government over its 100-day celebrations.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav took a jibe at CM Yogi Adityanath saying someone was running the government from behind. Yadav further said that democracy had been weakened due to misuse of power under the BJP rule.

He termed the achievements claimed by the BJP government as a bundle of lies and alleged that the BJP indulged in fraudulent politics.

Akhilesh said that this government showed people a lot of dreams of development but did not implement a single scheme on the ground.

Former Congress state president Ajay Kumar Lallu also attacked the government claiming that the Yogi Adityanath and his cabinet colleagues were padding their backs on “false propoganda”.

He claimed that 100 days of the BJP government would be known for injustice, atrocities, crime, arrogance, loot, murder, pimping, corruption, rising prices and, above all, suicides by farmers.

It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while presenting the report card of the 100 days of his second term, claimed on Monday that his government had lived up to the expectations of people who had completely rejected the SP, BSP and Congress.
